ROMEO CASTELLUCCI

No such thing as coincidence. When Jan Fabre invited Romeo Castellucci (b. 1960, Cesena) to take part in The Raft. Art is (not) lonely, it emerged that he was already creating work inspired by The Raft of the Medusa. For this exhibition, he created an enormous piece, made of black tulle and embroidered with golden letters, which reads like a newspaper headline, forcing the spectator to confront the facts.
