Location: atelier +3
Unique natural phenomenon and fraught, geopolitical location: the Dead Sea is a special place. It plays an important role in the work by the Israeli artist Sigalit Landau (b. 1969, Jerusalem). In this video – an impressive, six-metre wide projection – we see her floating on salt water, in the middle of a coil of watermelons. Landau represented the Israeli Pavilion during the 2011 Venice Biennale.
Live action / performance: During The Raft. Art is (not) lonely Landau will deliver a performance
