Florian Graf (b. 1980, Basel) questions the psychological and emotional influence of architecture, and creates lyrical places where imagination seeps into reality. Graf built a mobile lighthouse with which he visited Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Making a lighthouse – which normally serves to mark a set point – mobile and replacing the light signal with a rotating projection, makes us look at this kind of building differently. The installation includes a video of the lighthouse and a tiny, two-metre-tall replica.
